Off Site Activities

Children regularly visit places of local interest. Visits are part of the work planned for the year and complement activities taking place in the classroom.

Visits to Hampton Court, Pizza Express for instance link with the history and DT projects. We also organise a residential visit for older KS2 children.

In summer 2007 Year 6 children enjoyed a three day visit to the Kingswood Centre on the Isle of Wight, where they completed outdoor activities such as abseiling and climbing. Year 5 children completed a three day residential in Norfolk where they studied coastal features.
