Christmas Fair News

Copy of the letter that was emailed to all parents on 3rd November:

It comes around fast, doesn’t it??  In order to make the Fair a success, we need to start collecting donations of items for some of the stalls.  So please do what you can to help with the following…

• Good quality second-hand toys and books (please, please no junk)
• Cuddly toys in good, clean condition
• Good quality gift items for the Wishing Tree tombola
• Anything Christmassy for the Christmas Stall (decorations, books, plants…)

Please leave your contributions, bagged up, outside the school front door between now and 21^st November.  Thank you!

Grand Draw and Silent Auction

Do you have any items of value that you’d like to donate for these stalls?  Alternatively, you or your company may be able to donate a service for the Silent Auction. Please call one of us on the numbers below if you can offer anything.

As class hampers have been a massive hit in the past, we’re going to have them again this time. Your Class Rep will be contacting you soon about this.

Sweets Tombola – look out for sweetie bags (possibly with a tag inside for closing) in your child’s book bag soon. If you can, please fill it with loose sweets and leave it in the box outside the school front door.

Secrets Room – the children love this one!  They get to choose and wrap a present away from the prying eyes of their parents. Your Class Rep will be putting a Christmas box in your classroom to collect gifts so, if you can, please bring in an item suitable for a lady and/or a man.  Each item needn’t cost more than a pound or two, or you may have an unwanted item or two at home you can donate.

Bottle Tombola -  …and the adults love this one!  As usual we will be having a Mufti Day, on Friday, 13^th November.  Your child can come to school in their own clothes instead of uniform, providing you bring along a bottle, preferably alcoholic, although any bottle will be gratefully received.  We will be collecting the bottles on the school gates as the children arrive.
